Establishing a BART connection from the East Bay to Silicon Valley has long been a top regional priority for MTC.
On June 12, 2020, two new BART stations opened, extending BART for the first time into Santa Clara County.
Now BART trains are running to Milpitas and San Jose on 10 miles of new track spearheaded and built by VTA.
