The New Yorker had a humorous take on President Trump's focus on building a wall between the United States and Mexico, while roads and bridges are left to go to pot across the country.

All sarcasm aside, there is a growing push to rebuild infrastructure, including the nation's Interstate Highway System. MTC was part of a recent study addressing the needs of the system.

There also appears to be a push do something about the state of roads and highways across the nation in the new year, possibly in the way of a federal gas tax increase.
