Due to rise in COVID-19 cases in San Francisco, south end Golden Gate Bridge parking lots at the Welcome Center and along Merchant Road are closed, bridge officials have announced.
The Vista Point lot will be closed from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends and holidays through December 2020.
Visitors who make their way to the span are encouraged to wear face coverings and practice social distancing.
