Join MTC and the West Oakland Environmental Indicators Project for a webinar to learn about the West Oakland Link, Tuesday, Sept. 12 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Public input is crucial in charting the course for a more vibrant, inclusive, climate-friendly West Oakland. Register for the webinar.

The West Oakland Link is a proposed 1.1-mile-long elevated pedestrian and bicycle pathway that will close a critical active transportation gap. It will safely link the community of West Oakland to its shoreline, the Bay Trail and the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge East Span pathway.

During the webinar, hear directly from MTC planners, ask questions and learn how you can help shape the West Oakland Link in the coming months. MTC planners will share how the West Oakland Link project intends to connect West Oakland communities with jobs, recreation and park amenities.

At this interactive community meeting:

  • Discover the West Oakland Link project's goals, benefits and its role in strengthening West Oakland's mobility and sustainability
  • Engage in discussions with project leaders, community advocates and fellow residents
  • Share your insights, ideas and concerns to help shape the pathway's design, amenities and overall impact

The West Oakland Link project is supported by the Bay Area Toll Authority, Alameda County Transportation Commission, the City of Oakland and Caltrans.
