BART vows cleaner stations, puts money where mouth is

BART is getting serious about making its facilities cleaner.

The agency announced this week it will hire 15 workers over the next six months to keep stations and other parts of the system clean.    

New hires will focus on overnight cleanings of the system’s busiest stations.
