3/15 Meeting Preview: ABAG Executive Board

ABAG’s Executive Board will meet this Thursday, March 15, starting at 7 p.m. in the board room of the Bay Area Metro Center.  The meeting will consist of reports from ABAG’s Administrative Committee, Legislation Committee, Finance Committee, and Regional Planning Committee.  View the agenda and download relevant attachments here.

The Administrative and Legislation Committee reports will consist of information or action items from the 3/9 meetings (summarized in this blog post), in particular approval of a proposed amendment to Plan Bay Area 2040 and the Amended 2017 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) to revise the cost and scope of the U.S. 101 Managed Lanes Project in San Mateo County.

Major items from the Finance Committee include: Reauthorization of ABAG’s investment policy; adoption of a resolution establishing bylaws for the Advancing California Finance Authority; a recommendation that the General Assembly adopt the Proposed Budget and Work Program for Fiscal Year 2018-2019; authorization to enter into a contract for annual financial and compliance audit services; and a proposed modification of ABAG membership dues for counties.
