As part of SF Climate Week, a two-hour event featuring a documentary screening and expert panel discussion on the past, present, and future of transit in San Francisco and the Bay Area will be featured from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday at the Bay Area Metro Center, 375 Beale St., San Francisco.
The event — co-sponsored by MTC — will kick off with a screening of 'Moving San Francisco,' a documentary by Jim Yager and Peter Stein, starring Gary Kamiya.
The panel will feature:
- Alix Bockelman, Chief Deputy Executive Director, Metropolitan Transportation Commission
- Egon Terplan, Senior Fellow at the Institute of Transportation Studies at UC Berkeley
- Nila Gonzales, Chief of Staff, Transbay Joint Powers Authority
- Margaret Cederoth, Director of Planning and Sustainability, California High-Speed Rail Authority
