Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit has added 10 new weekday trips to its schedule to increase transit usability, provide convenient transfers to local and regional bus service, and connections to the Larkspur Ferry into San Francisco.

“I am truly excited that SMART is adding this many trips back to its weekday schedule,” said David Rabbitt, MTC Commissioner and chairman of the SMART Board of Directors. “Offering 36 weekday trips gets SMART back to pre-pandemic levels of service, and this will help meet the increasing demand we’ve been experiencing.”

The trips added last week:

  •  Three southbound trips leaving Sonoma County Airport at 4:39 a.m., 6:38 a.m. and 7:42 a.m.
  •  Two southbound trips leaving Sonoma County Airport at 2:53 p.m. and 6:05 p.m.
  •  Three northbound trips leaving Larkspur at 6:08 a.m., 8:16 a.m. and 9:20 a.m.
  •  Two northbound trips leaving Larkspur at 4:31 p.m. and 7:43 p.m.

In addition, responding to popular demand for full weekend service, SMART added Sunday service to its schedule last month and now offers 12 trips each weekend day.

MTC and SMART are transportation partners.
