Preview of 1/12 Meetings: Legislation, Planning, and Operations

Three MTC and ABAG committees plan to meet this Friday, January 12, at the Bay Area Metro Center. What are they up to?

• The Joint MTC Legislation Committee and ABAG Legislation Committee will be recommending their state and federal legislative priorities for 2018 (Download Attachment) and giving an update on the federal tax bill (Download Attachment);
• The MTC Planning Committee will review proposed distribution of $1.5 million in funding to county Congestion Management Agencies through the Community-Based Transportation Planning program, which is funded by OBAG 2 (Download Attachment);
• The Planning Committee will also present near-term priorities for goods movement investments, including highway, rail, and community protection, to the Commission (Download Attachment);
• Finally, The MTC Operations Committee will give an update on the 511 Traveler Information Services Program (Download Attachment).
