A group of MTC employees took a lunchtime ride Tuesday in celebration of Bike Month.
The ride to Mission Bay also served as a warm up for Bike to Work Day on Thursday.
After Bike to Work Day there will be two more MTC Bike Month rides: Friday at noon from the Bay Trail to the Water Trail in Mission Bay and a "Happy Hour" ride at 4:45 p.m. Thursday, May 30, from the the Embarcadero to the North Luau Lounge. RSVP to Sarina Seaton sseaton@bayareametro.gov.
Bike to Work Day 2019 is presented by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission, 511.org and Alaska Airlines, in partnership with county congestion management agencies, local bike coalitions, regional and local sponsors and thousands of volunteers.
