MTC/ABAG Executive Director Therese W. McMillan will join Bay Area transit leaders and residents on Friday, September 16, from 3 to 6:30 p.m. for a public transit ride-along, culminating in a summer social happy hour.

Members of the public are invited to attend, ask questions and discuss ideas for the future of Bay Area transit.

Meet general managers, CEOs and executive directors from AC Transit, BART, County Connection, Golden Gate Transit, Marin Transit, SamTrans, SFMTA, Tri Delta Transit, VTA, WestCAT and WETA (San Francisco Bay Ferry).

The route will begin and end in Oakland: The group will board the AC Transit 1T from 19th and Broadway at 3:04 p.m. From there, the party will take BART to San Francisco and switch to a Muni metro train, connecting to a San Francisco Bay Ferry back to Oakland. The happy hour at Line 51 Brewing on Third and Castro will begin shortly after 5 p.m. (Tip: Add Clipper® to Apple Wallet or Google Pay to pay fares with your phone, or load your Clipper card online before you begin your journey.)
