Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit will offer added evening rail service to take people from the Marin County Fair, which begins Wednesday and lasts through July 7.
The train stops at the doorstep of the fair, which is held at the Marin County Civic Center.
MTC has provided financial support for SMART, which is expected to add a Larkspur extension and downtown Novato station in Marin County later this year.
SMART is also working on extending further north to Windsor in Sonoma County by the end of 2021.
