First weekend closure for 19th Avenue rehab finishes early

Caltrans announced the first of three weekend closures for the 19th Avenue Rehabilitation Project finished ahead of schedule about 3 1/2 hours ahead of schedule early Monday morning.

The work finished all northbound lanes on 19th Avenue from Sloat Boulevard to Lincoln Way, covering 16 blocks and six lane miles along the corridor, also known as State Route 1.

More work is ahead. The next two weekend closures are:

  • Friday, May 8 from 7 a.m. until Monday, May 11 at 5 a.m. on southbound 19th Avenue from Lincoln Way to Sloat Boulevard
  • Friday, May 22 from 7 a.m. until Monday, May 25 at 10 a.m. on southbound/Northbound 19th Avenue from Sloat Boulevard to Holloway Avenue
