Take public transit to the San Francisco Pride Parade and Celebration on Sunday, June 28 and keep an eye out for the Bay Area transit agency staff who will be marching in the parade under the banner, “Moving the Bay Area With Pride.”
Bay Area transit agencies are proud to support Pride Month events throughout June and to get you to festivities quickly and safely. SFMTA, BART, SamTrans, Caltrain and the San Mateo County Transportation Authority are among the transit agencies supporting the events and providing transit service.
To pay for transit, you can tap and go with your contactless credit, debit or prepaid bank card or use Clipper®, the Bay Area’s all-in-one transit card. Clipper is accepted on all of the Bay Area’s more than two dozen transit agencies and is the fastest way to pay. To take the train, bus or ferry, just tap and go.
You can pre-load Clipper funds on your mobile phone or smart watch or use a classic plastic Clipper card. Visit ClipperCard.com for more information about getting and using Clipper.
Clipper is also your key to unlocking Bay Wheels bike share bikes. New riders and people without a current Bay Wheels membership can use promo code BWPRIDE26 on June 27 and June 28 for a $5 Bay Wheels credit. Bay Wheels Classic bikes are the more affordable option, while Bay Wheels e-bikes’ pedal assist gets you to your destination without breaking a sweat.
