Registration is continuing for a Planning Innovations webinar previewing the first set of regional data tools developed as part of ABAG’s Housing Technical Assistance Program. The webinar is at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, October 29. The TA Program kicks off this fall, and is designed to support local jurisdictions to adopt compliant Housing Elements to implement the 6th cycle of RHNA.
This webinar will feature a demonstration of the beta version of the Housing Element Site Selection Tool, and a preview of the Housing Needs Data Packets pending release. HCD staff will also give updates on new rules affecting the Housing Needs and Site Inventory sections of the housing element.
MTC/ABAG continue to seek feedback from local jurisdictions to shape the structure and content of the Regional Housing Technical Assistance Program.
