Take public transit to first major Bay Area FIFA soccer event Friday

Take public transit to watch parties in celebration of the FIFA World Cup 26 Final Draw at locations in San Francisco, San Jose and Oakland this Friday. The broadcast begins at 9 a.m.

 

Live viewing parties will be at Thrive City at Chase Center in San Francisco, at PayPal Park in San Jose and The Athletic Club Oakland. The Bay Area Host Committee invites fans to the live broadcast of Final Draw. 

MUNI provides easy public transit to Thrive City near the Chase Center. The Valley Transit Authority serves the PayPal Park event in San Jose. Oakland's The Athletic Club is two blocks from the 19th Street BART Station and near the AC Transit Telegraph Avenue and Broadway Street bus lines.

The Final Draw will capture the world’s attention, uniting FIFA officials, team ambassadors, delegates from all host cities and international media as the teams’ groups are finalized. The Bay Area is set to host five Group Stage matches in 2026 (June 13, 16, 19, 22 and 25) and the Round of 32 match (July 1) at Levi’s Stadium.
