SPUR in-person forum Thursday: Bay Area transit's fiscal challenges

The Bay Area's biggest transit agencies including MUNI, BART, Caltrain and AC Transit are at a critical juncture and face severe operating cuts unless new funding can be found. 

Join SPUR and a panel of experts from transit operators, MTC and the State Legislature to hear the latest about efforts to identify new sources of funding that can keep the trains and buses running.

The forum is from noon to 1 p.m., Thursday, April 17 at the SPUR Urban Center, 654 Mission St., San Francisco.  Register for the free event.
