Some San Francisco's Muni Metro rail lines are almost ready to see trains roll again, while others are a work in progress as the system makes its way back from the pandemic.

The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency expects trains to roll again by May on the T Third line between Sunnydale and West Portal and the N Judah from the CalTrain Station to Ocean Beach.

The L Taraval doesn't have trains currently as work continues on an improvement project.

Dates for the return of the J Church, K Ingleside and M Oceanview have yet to be determined, according to this report.

Before the pandemic, the system carried more than 160,000 daily riders. MTC and SFMTA are transportation partners.
