San Francisco has a plan to gird against of sea level rise brought on by the swirling and undulating Pacific Ocean that ceaselessly beats against the city's western shore.
The San Francisco Planning Department has a whole webpage dedicated to deal with the rising waters at Ocean Beach.
The site serves as a portal to information about Ocean Beach, including plans, studies and projects.
The site notes there are a number of city, state, and federal agencies working on various efforts at Ocean Beach to adapt to climate change and coastal erosion.
