Second phase of work set for busy SF corridor

The SFMTA will begin a second phase of infrastructure improvements along the L Taraval corridor between Sunset Boulevard and West Portal in ​early 2022 and continue through 2024.

SFMTA work will make pedestrian crossings safer, increase accessibility, improve transit reliability for Muni customers and enhance landscaping along Taraval Street.

The Plan B segment will see work between Sunset Boulevard and West Portal. The first phase of construction, Segment A ​(between Sunset Boulevard and 46th Avenue), was completed in July.

The SFMTA and MTC are transportation partners.
