What is the future of public transportation and what can be done to get riders back? City Lab had an interesting article on the matter, offering ways transit systems can survive.

More crews to clean, infrared thermometers and face coverings were offered as ways to ease back public transit in a safe way.

Last month, MTC approved the allocation of more than $780 million of federal funds to cash-strapped Bay Area transit agencies through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act.
