Bike to work day was a smash success last week.
While Bike to Work Day is over, May continues to be Bike to Wherever Days and everyone invited to participate. The Bay Area Bike Challenge challenged bikers to ride a collective 30,000 miles and beyond from May 1-31 in honor of the 30th anniversary of Bike to Work Day.
The Challenge surpassed its initial goal only twelve days into the challenge on May 11th. As of right now, over 50,000 miles have been logged. Now riders are encouraged to triple that goal and make it to 90,000. There are eight different prizes available, with more information here: https://bit.ly/bayareabikechallenge.
Bike month provides an opportunity to embrace the outdoors, get active, and connect with fellow cycling enthusiasts. Pledge to Ride and join this year's Bay Area Bike Challenge for a chance to win a prize.
