Thursday, May 16, is the Bay Area's annual Bike to Work Day and the event is turning 30 years old.

Check out the first ever Regional Energizer Station map to plan the day's route and schedule of events. In addition, May is Bike to Wherever Days and everyone invited to participate.

Bike month provides an opportunity to embrace the outdoors, get active, and connect with fellow cycling enthusiasts. Pledge to Ride and join this year's Bay Area Bike Challenge (BABC) for a chance to win a prize.

Other highlights of the month-long event:

  • Bike to Wherever Days: Ride your bike to work, school, or anywhere you please throughout May.
  • Bay Area Bike Challenge: Compete with other riders and log your miles for a chance to win prizes. 
  • Group Rides: Join organized rides and explore scenic routes together. Check out the regional calendar of events and find rides, classes and other events.
