New special edition of ESTUARY News magazine looks at adaptation

Estuary News

The latest issue of ESTUARY News explores climate adaptation activities in 12 counties around the Bay and Delta. View the new issue here.

Projects range from planning how to lift big infrastructure like Highway 37 and the Dumbarton Bridge approach out of the future flood waters to putting cameras on wildlands subject to wildfire and ridgetops rained on by atmospheric rivers.

From small city resilience plans to land use guidelines and multi-hazard, multi-agency initiatives, this issue takes the temperature of adaptation around the Estuary region.

The San Francisco Estuary Partnership — which supports the magazine — is an ABAG program staffed by MTC working to increase the health and resiliency of the San Francisco Estuary. For more information about the  Estuary Partnership visit: sfestuary.org.
