MTC to host webinars on the future of freeways

This month, staff from the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) will host two webinars to discuss the future of Bay Area freeways. The presentation focuses on some of the key challenges and opportunities facing this vital transportation infrastructure as freeway congestion continues to surge.

These webinars invite the public to step into the driver’s seat of policymakers. Participants will get to help envision the future of Bay Area transportation, informed by a deeper understanding of both the root causes and disparate impacts of freeway congestion. This is a valuable opportunity to inform the development of innovative solutions to growing traffic delays and the lasting inequities of 20th century policy decisions.
