Latest issue of San Francisco Estuary Magazine is out

San Francisco Estuary Partnership

This latest issue of the San Francisco Estuary Magazine celebrates the ambition of working on the watershed.

In five stories, the publication explores everything from dam removal to cold water releases for steelhead to the restoration of creek mouths and former flood control channels.

Listen in on where the salmon are moving as they migrate from the Sacramento River’s headwaters to the Pacific, and examine wastewater recycling in the Pajaro River watershed. Other stories cover cross-country curlews, disappeared herring, persistent microtrash and more.

The San Francisco Estuary Partnership — which supports the magazine — is an ABAG program staffed by MTC working to increase the health and resiliency of the San Francisco Estuary. For more information about the  Estuary Partnership visit: sfestuary.org.
