The Greenbelt Alliance —  a Bay Area non-profit land conservation and urban planning organization — posted a rundown of Tuesday's election on issues the group views as important, ranging from open to space to affordable housing.

The Alliance has backed affordable housing in the region and urged support for Measures A and E in San Francisco. Measure A provides more money for affordable housing, while Measure E creates housing for teachers. Both measures won Tuesday.

The group cheered the approval of Measure B in Rohnert Park in Sonoma County. The measure renews that city's urban growth boundary.

Measure L in the Contra Costa County city of Brentwood lost, which the Alliance viewed as a victory. The measure threatened open space with sprawling development, the group said.
