Global Warming Solution: Dim The Sun?

MTC has several programs aimed directly at climate change, but nothing as curious as a suggestion that the sun could be dimmed to help Mother Earth.

CNN was one of the first news outlets to report on a technique that essentially would spray sun-dimming chemicals into the Earth's atmosphere to cool the planet.

But some scientists say it would only work as a stop-gap effort, while the United Nations announced in a report issued this week that people must triple efforts to halt climate change.
