An open house on the future of Diridon Station will be held at the Gardner Community Center on Thursday, Sept. 12 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

This open house will have lots of information about the project, stations to interact with, and food for those who register in advance. Spanish and Vietnamese speaking staff will be available if requested through Eventbrite registration.

This open house is an opportunity to learn more about updates to the long-term planning process for Diridon Station, an important transit hub at the western edge of Downtown San José.

The station will be redesigned and expanded through collaboration among five public agencies: City of San JoséCaltrain, Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA), California High-Speed Rail Authority (CHSRA), and Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC).

In August, two alternatives were shared with the station’s advisory board, the Diridon Joint Policy Advisory Board (JPAB). We are now soliciting feedback from the public on these concepts to drive our analysis for the concept that is ultimately used.

Feedback will be incorporated to refine the designs with the goal of advancing one station design for environmental review starting in mid-2025. Visit diridonsj.org for more information.

Design and project updates will be available on diridonsj.org or sign up for email.
