The Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit system is offering free service beginning Thanksgiving Day, through Sunday, Dec. 1.
SMART is operating on the weekend/holiday schedule on Thanksgiving Day and the day after Thanksgiving.

SMART service began from the Santa Rosa Airport to downtown San Rafael in August 2017.
MTC has provided financial support for SMART, which is expected to start service to Larkspur and downtown Novato station in Marin County next month. SMART is also working on extending further north to Windsor in Sonoma County by the end of 2021.
