From filming, to a run to road work, busy SF streets expected this weekend

Filming for “Project Ice Cream,” believed to be “Matrix 4” with Keanu Reeves, is taking place in the Financial District and continuing until Monday. That means Montgomery, Pine and Kearny streets and other traffic lanes will be impacted.

Then on Sunday, the 42nd annual Chinatown New Year Run will begin at 8 a.m. and will be followed by a festival in Portsmouth Square. The event will necessitate the closing of nearby streets.

The Warriors are also playing Sunday and there is ongoing work as part of the Page Street Bikeway Improvement Pilot Project to add more street closures.
