The U.S. Department of Transportation released its June 2021 Air Travel Consumer Report on Monday and it shows flights increasing as the pandemic begins to slow with millions of people now vaccinated.

The total number of flights operated have not rebounded to pre-pandemic levels but have increased significantly since the all-time monthly lows in 2020.

The report includes which airlines had the best and worst on time records, which carriers cancelled the most flights and how much baggage was mishandled, among other factoids.

Other aviation consumer matters of interest to the public can be found at http://www.transportation.gov/airconsumer.

The report is designed to inform consumers about the quality of the services that airlines provide.
