The Metropolitan Transportation Commission today adopted the updated Coordinated Public Transit-Human Services Transportation Plan (Coordinated Plan). The Coordinated Plan focuses on the transportation needs of older adults, people with disabilities and people with low incomes, and coordinates transit agencies and other transportation providers so that all Bay Area residents can get to where they need to go.

The Coordinated Plan was last updated in 2018. The latest version of the plan incorporates feedback from members of the public, particularly around transportation gaps faced by residents who identify as older adults, people with disabilities and people with low incomes. The input received will help MTC, transit agencies and county transportation authorities prioritize funding and align services to better meet the needs of these communities.
