With the start of the San Francisco Giants baseball home games this week, Caltrain has announced a new schedule to get fans to Oracle Park.

The Giants' Opening Day is Friday. Caltrain has scheduled extra service for the opener and other games through the regular season, which lasts until late September.

To handle large crowds, Caltrain runs extra trains to all weekend and weekday afternoon games. Caltrain highly encourages that fans take the extra service trains to assure a seat and comfortable ride to the game.

Caltrain is not the only way to go. There are a myriad of public transportation options to get to the ballpark.
