A new analysis looks at the lowest-priced listings currently on the market in the most expensive zip codes.

The  Point2Homes.com report includes a new infographic showing the Bay Area’s least expensive homes currently on the market in the most expensive areas.

In Atherton's 94027, the country’s most expensive zip code, the least expensive home on the market is listed for $5 million, which is still sky high, but a significant $2.5 million below the median price in the San Mateo County town.

The report notes even the "bargain" prices noted are still out of reach for most as housing in the Bay Area continues to be a major issue facing the region.
